How to proceed purchasing through Auctions

1. First of all, please inform us of your budget, desired model, model year, your country and its port of destination by E-mail. In reply, GB2 will inform you of the market rate of your desired model in Japan and the transportation method to the point of your destination.
2. If you determine to purchase the car through the used car auction in Japan based on the above model, its market rate and the method of transportation, please let us know your intention to purchase by E-mail immediately.
3. You are required to remit us the deposit money to ensure our participation in the used car auctions. And please let us know the date of your remittance immediately after you remit the deposit money to our bank by E-mail or facsimile. The amount of deposit shall be One Hundred Thousand Japanese Yen (¥100,000) when the car value is less than One Million Japanese Yen (¥1,000,000), and fifteen percent (15%) of the car value when the car value will exceed One Million Yen (¥1,000,000).
   This amount of deposit shall be counted and settled as a part of the total payment of your purchasing amount.
4. As soon as we confirm the arrival of your remittance of the deposit, GB2 will start searching any relevant cars listed in coming used car auctions.
5. When GB2 finds the proper car against your desired model on the day before auction, GB2 will provide you with an auction sheet which specifies full detailed information, like registered year, model, engine displacement, maker name, travel distance, type of engine, type of transmission and its photograph by E-mail.
6. Based on the above information sent by GB2, you are required to study in detail and inform us of your final purchasing price of the model by return E-mail within twelve (12) hours after your receipt of our E-mail specified item 5) above.
7. Before opening the bid on the day of the auction, GB2 auction staff (authorized assessor of JAAI) will inspect your nominated car carefully utilizing his long accumulated experience, including engine, transmission, electric system, suspension and the body.
8. GB2 will submit the bid with your designated price in the auction if the report of GB2 assessorÕs technical inspection is satisfactory.
9. The auction starts at 09:00 am, and bidding will be closed 400 units in every hour utilizing computer. GB2 submit your bidding price one hour before auction starts.
10. Successful bidder shall be awarded to the highest bidder. But if the exhibitor does not agree with this highest price, this tender will be called off.
11. The result of the tender will be notified to you by GB2 during the next day of the tender.
12. If your bidding price is successful winner, GB2 will send you a Pro-Forma Invoice specifying the winning price with all specification within the next day of the tender by E-mail together with its photograph.
13. Driving test before shipment is also possible against your request subject to at your extra cost.
14. The Pro-Forma Invoice shows total amount of this transaction, covering the price of the car, auction fee, inland transportation charge to the port, customs clearance charge, warehouse charge before shipment, mailing fee of the document and GB2 handling commission. GB2 will issue and send by E-mail a payment request bill to you, which specifies total amount of Pro-Forma Invoice deducting the amount of your deposit remitted in advance.
15. With seven (7) days after your receipt of our Pro-Forma Invoice, you are requested to remit the amount specified in above bill of payment request to the bank account designated by GB2. As soon as we confirm arrival of your remittance specified in item 15) above, GB2 will arrange shipment to the port of your destination., booking the shipping space on the boat, transporting your car to the port of loading and loading on the boat. ETA (Expected Time of Arrival) shall be informed to you by our E-mail. We will send the original documents (B/L, Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, if necessary, etc.) to you by EMS Express or UPS immediately after shipment is executed.
16. Liability of GB2 shall cease at the time when above procedure is completed in case of FOB contract with customers.
17. You or your agent shall be liable to proceed import procedure at your end before the date of arrival of the boat. Customs clearance as well as payment of import duty is required at your port.
18. The above import procedures should be taken care of by yourself or your agent strictly in accordance with laws and regulations of your country.
